In our classes you are the focus. In all levels from A1-C2 it is most important to us that you can actively participate in the lessons. That you get a solid basis of the language and that you can repeat in order to consolidate what you have already learned. That you learn new things, ask questions and really get ahead. That you learn to express yourself in the language and integrate without fear of the language barrier.

Our group courses are the right choice for you if you like to learn and discuss together with other participants. Group courses take place at fixed times. It is also possible to book a partial course (vario booking) if participation in a complete course is not suitable for you. This vario booking is possible at the beginning and/or end of a course and in a complete block.

We offer Vario bookings from course level B1.1.

Would you like a German or English course that is tailored to your exact needs, schedule and learning pace? In our PremiumClass you learn on your own with a teacher. You decide how many lessons you want to book and at what time the lessons take place. If you are unable to attend a class, you can cancel the scheduled class 24 hours in advance. For a lesson on Monday, you can cancel until 7 pm on Friday without missing anything.

You want to prepare for an exam?

Our PremiumClass is exactly the right solution for that, too. Through targeted individual training, you can focus on exactly what YOU need for the exam. Or is it better to get a complete boost for all parts of the exam – reading, listening, writing, grammar, speaking? That’s exactly what you get in our customized PremiumClass.

A1

Can understand and use familiar everyday expressions and very basic phrases aimed at the satisfaction of needs of a concrete type. Can introduce him/herself and others and can ask and answer questions about personal details such as where he/she lives, people he/she knows and things he/she has. Can interact in a simple way provided the other person talks slowly and clearly and is prepared to help.

A2

B1

Can understand the main points of clear standard input on familiar matters regularly encountered in work, school, leisure, etc. Can deal with most situations likely to arise whilst travelling in an area where the language is spoken.  Can produce simple connected text on topics which are familiar or of personal interest. Can describe experiences and events, dreams, hopes & ambitions and briefly give reasons and explanations for opinions and plans.

B2

Can understand the main ideas of complex text on both concrete and abstract topics, including technical discussions in his/her field of specialisation. Can interact with a degree of fluency and spontaneity that makes regular interaction with native speakers quite possible without strain for either party. Can produce clear, detailed text on a wide range of subjects and explain a viewpoint on a topical issue giving the advantages and disadvantages of various options.

C1

Can understand a wide range of demanding, longer texts, and recognise implicit meaning. Can express him/herself fluently and spontaneously without much obvious searching for expressions. Can use language flexibly and effectively for social, academic and professional purposes. Can produce clear, well-structured, detailed text on complex subjects, showing controlled use of organisational patterns, connectors and cohesive devices.

C2

Can understand with ease virtually everything heard or read. Can summarise information from different spoken and written sources, reconstructing arguments and accounts in a coherent presentation. Can express him/herself spontaneously, very fluently and precisely, differentiating finer shades of meaning even in more complex situations.

Kann vertraute, alltägliche Ausdrücke und ganz einfache Sätze verstehen und verwenden, die auf die Befriedigung konkreter Bedürfnisse zielen. Kann sich und andere vorstellen und anderen Leuten Fragen zu ihrer Person stellen – z.B. wo sie wohnen, was für Leute sie kennen und was für Dinge sie haben – und kann auf Fragen dieser Art Antwort geben. Kann sich auf einfache Art verständigen, wenn die Gesprächspartner/innen langsam und deutlich sprechen und bereit sind zu helfen.

A2:

Kann Sätze und häufig gebrauchte Ausdrücke verstehen, die mit Bereichen von ganz unmittelbarer Bedeutung zusammenhängen (z.B. Informationen zur Person und zur Familie, Einkaufen, Arbeit, nähere Umgebung). Kann sich in einfachen, routinemäßigen Situationen verständigen, in denen es um einen einfachen und direkten Austausch von Informationen über vertraute und geläufige Dinge geht. Kann mit einfachen Mitteln die eigene Herkunft und Ausbildung, die direkte Umgebung und Dinge im Zusammenhang mit unmittelbaren Bedürfnissen beschreiben.

B1:

Kann die Hauptpunkte verstehen, wenn klare Standardsprache verwendet wird und wenn es um vertraute Dinge aus Arbeit, Schule, Freizeit usw. geht. Kann die meisten Situationen bewältigen, denen man auf Reisen im Sprachgebiet begegnet. Kann sich einfach und zusammenhängend über vertraute Themen und persönliche Interessengebiete äußern. Kann über Erfahrungen und Ereignisse berichten, Träume, Hoffnungen und Ziele beschreiben und zu Plänen und Ansichten kurze Begründungen oder Erklärungen geben.

B2:

Kann die Hauptinhalte komplexer Texte zu konkreten und abstrakten Themen verstehen; versteht im eigenen Spezialgebiet auch Fachdiskussionen. Kann sich spontan und fließend verständigen, dass ein normales Gespräch mit Muttersprachlern ohne größere Anstrengung auf beiden Seiten gut möglich ist. Kann sich zu einem breiten Themenspektrum klar und detailliert ausdrücken, einen Standpunkt zu einer aktuellen Frage erläutern und die Vor- und Nachteile verschiedener Möglichkeiten angeben

C1:

Kann ein breites Spektrum anspruchsvoller, längerer Texte verstehen und auch implizite Bedeutungen erfassen. Kann sich spontan und fließend ausdrücken, ohne öfter deutlich erkennbar nach Worten suchen zu müssen. Kann die Sprache im gesellschaftlichen und beruflichen Leben oder in Ausbildung und Studium wirksam und flexibel gebrauchen. Kann sich klar, strukturiert und ausführlich zu komplexen Sachverhalten äußern und dabei verschiedene Mittel zur Textverknüpfung angemessen verwenden.

C2:

Kann praktisch alles, was er/sie liest oder hört, mühelos verstehen. Kann Informationen aus verschiedenen schriftlichen und mündlichen Quellen zusammenfassen und dabei Begründungen und Erklärungen in einer zusammenhängenden Darstellung wiedergeben. Kann sich spontan, sehr flüssig und genau ausdrücken und auch bei komplexeren Sachverhalten feinere Bedeutungsnuancen deutlich machen.
